All We Have is Now  performed by The Flaming Lips  2002
Composed by Flaming Lips

I don't know why I like this track so much. I'll admit that Do You Realize? is the better track from the album. But this song just always makes me stop in my tracks and listen. It's an interesting song, about a man meeting himself from the future. It's really cool.

from Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots (Warner Bros.)

Times Like These (Acoustic)  performed by Foo Fighters  2002

The original song is amazing, but the acoustic version is better. Dave Grohl's voice is put to a great use here. The song is stripped down, made quieter and more powerful in acoustic form. Very very beautiful.

Hackensack  performed by Fountains of Wayne  2003

This song is lonely. It reminds me of an ex-boyfriend that I had. It makes me so sad.

from Welcome Interstate Managers

Aveda  performed by Hot Hot Heat  2002

The tune of this song, and the way it plays out just get me everytime. I love a song with a good beat and an interesting melody.

from Make up the Breakdown (Import)

Say Hello to the Angels  performed by Interpol  2002

Interpol are a great band... This track stands out for me because it's fairly uptempo. It's angry and sad and menacing all at once. That's kinda cool.

from Turn on the Bright Lighs (Matador)
