My name is Kaelen, I live in Japan. I like a lot of different genres and eras of music, but I've found music somewhere between 1968-1974 that blurs the soul/jazz/funk/psychedelic lines, to be the most personally affecting and satisfying to me. The fact that all of these songs had their time before I was born is particularly endearing to me, and the experience of coming across amazing, moving music that has no real temporal, geographic, cultural, or contextual link to my existence is one of my life's joys.
