I like this song for alot of the same reasons I like other Spoon songs-- driven melody and attractive vocals. The melody is driven as much by piano as guitar, which is always delicious. The song is also well-written; it's the all-around harmony of these different elements that make it have all the repeat value that it does.
03 Sep 03 ·Reina: Spoon is really cool--but nobody I know, even people who listen to really cool obscure music--has ever heard of them. Sad, really. 10 May 04 ·xfanatic50: This is my favourite Spoon song, by far.
Displaying the most scary and imaginitive lyrics of Neutral Milk Hotel's, Two-Headed Boy is played with so much force it is practically undescribable. Both Jeff Mangum's singing and strumming is so intense that when one listens to it, he/she is instantly moved. Jeff is a little off key but still it is felt.
I'm sure everyone reading this has probably heard it. If not, do so. NOW!!!

If you answered yes to the above, this song (and the whole album) is a must listen. Twee vocals, cheeky lyrics, delicate harmonies and the occasional trumpet solo fill out a song about a schoolgirl crush gone wrong.
Quite simply a perfect song for lying in a grassy field watching the sun set.
