A psychedelic Exotica classic. It really must be heard to be believed. For starters, Magne raises the genre's hallmark bird calls way, way over the top. Some of them sound like Donald Duck, some sound like theremins. Then there is the spaced-out arrangement which integrates the bird sounds and pushes the familiar melody in totally bizarre directions.
A key song from the French folk rock bohemian's ambitious concept album, Polnareff's. This could have been produced by David Axelrod but wasn't. Beautiful, aching pop song with grandeur and despair. And a rhythm section that's so groovy. Another example of how great the studio orchestras sounded in France back then. What an arrangement. As hip as it gets.

Try the three instrumentals on Polnareff's - so funky they're ridiculous!
Great lo-fi fun music from france. Samples, cheezy keyboards... really sounds like it's made in a bedroom. This song's a bit silly. Latin beat. guitar strums. cha cha cha. Good for fans of Stereo Total
