Gonna Get Along Without Ya Now  performed by Trini Lopez

Not too keen on his songs about DIY but this is a beautiful, light, summers day kind of song.

Young, Alive, In Love  performed by Flipper’s Guitar

Japanese group from the early 90's where Cornelius first made his name. This track and especially the album Dr. Head's World Tower are fantastic, bizzare, exciting pop.

Sueno  performed by The Young Rascals

B-side of Groovin, the intro caught my attention as the sample from the beginning of A Tribe Called Quest's 'I Left My Wallet...'. The rest of the track is even better though - a really dynamic song built aroung a fantastic acoustic guitar riff.

It’s A Desperate Situation  performed by Marvin Gaye  1969

A beautiful song. Marvin's voice is raw, pleeding emotion, the strings, the drums, the everything!
This song should be known to all. I challenge anyone who loves music not to feel moved listening to this!

from Motown Lost And Found(?)

Temporary Secretary  performed by Paul McCartney  1980
Composed by Paul McCartney

I heard lots of bad things about this song, like it was the devils work or something....actually it just demonstrates how he could turn his hand to pretty much anything. Electronic, mixed-up, too much going on but i think it works.

from McCartney II, available on CD
