his voice is almost gloomy, but in a striking and haunting way. it does fit the mood of the song--it sounds earnest and intense without being too singer-songwriter-y.

one of my favourite pink dots song. i suppose because, for me, they always manage to convey a sort of 'it's the end of the world' vibe. and the lyrics are cryptic enough that you can't always tell if the presumed outcome is hopeful or not.

an introspective industrial song. that was not an oxymoron.

this is a nightmare in song form. the demo version (without vocals) is significantly less creepy, but still brilliant.
