My musical tastes are all over the board. I find it amazing the different artists and genres that grab my ear. For the most part, I listen to gothic, industrial, and metal. I have an appreciation for very few pop or hip hop songs, but try to have an open mind about them. Classic rock is another that tops my list.
When I was young my mother listened to a lot of R&B, rock. When I got a bit older it gave way to some southern rock and disco, but to this day I despise disco. I'm not sure why, but I just cannot stand it.
Being a saxaphonist (it's been a while since I've played) I cut my chops on marches first, then went on to symphonic classics and jazz. To this day I still will listen to jazz and classical, but marches never did keep my attention.
