Rocky and Bullwinkle (with the genuine cartoon voices) present what amounts to an audio vaudeville act in less than 2 minutes. An intro from Rocky, Bullwinkle does a quick song, the duo do some standup patter and Bullwinkle rings it all down with a juggling act. Sight gags in audio!
a french reworking of 'gimmie some loving' by the spencer davis group. lush strings and pounding horns make this song a stormer. i personally like this version better than the original. highly recommended.
Great brooding mid-60s melodrama from this obscure British girl singer. A terrific stomping number dealing with the age-old teenage theme of heartbreak. "Burning in the background of my mind/are memories/and they seem to haunt me."

06 May 02 ·fullwoof: This song was recorded in 1969. To the best of my knowledge, she recorded only one single. The flip is equally as good: Take Away My Emptiness Too
A song that lives up to it's name. On the surface, a very easy-going trumpet, harpsichord and xylophone flutter about over a very tense rythm that hints as something sinister. An excellent use of contrasting elements to set a particular filmic mood.
