genki japanese pop band's take on france gall's classic. reworked in japanese, hi posi takes this cover the upmost hyper level. ^.^
complete with breathy vocals, hi posi add their own personal touch to the german oldie.
the latin intro quickly gives way to the electronic beats chappie is known for. personally, i think this is the best chappie song. i wonder how much is bias towards the name.
I went to see Malkmus the other day - essentially, his new band sound just like Pavement, but the songs are in general not as good. It's as if he sacked them because he didn't like them criticising his songs, and now his new lot have no quality control. This one however is really, really, really good - really nice hawaiian guitar, with Malkmus considering 'how small we humans are' in a song - really - about Greek Gods.
A beautiful, progressive pop song from the best album I've ever heard. This is something completely different. A lush arrangement with flutes and ravishing J. Marr -like guitars. The melody and chords in the chorus give me goosebumps. The talent and musicianship are simply stunning. This is almost as good a pick as any song from this, Liekki's first album. They come from Finland.

this song makes me happy. it's got all the great 60s elements. they're from the norwegian city drammen. you can find the song on freetrax.no: http://www.freetrax.com/cgi-bin/pointgo.cgi?url=http://195.92.248.80:1331/u02/freetrax/prd_0000001535/01_Track_1.mp3
