If you are (were) a fan of Weezer, you probably heard of the Space Twins, Brian's side project. If you like this sound, also check out Goddess of Love. These two tracks were both done in the nineties, and they both have that vintage sound which I guess I've always loved; I must have been 14 or 15 when I was listening to this and I liked it even then as much as or more than weezer. This site really is making me realize my musical progression and how its all very related and interlinked.
Hot damn this is a dance song, and the music video is slick as well. It's two canadians, Pee Thugg and Dave 1, and they describe themselves as the only successful arab/jew collaboration since the beginning of time.

I'm pretty sure that I marked the performer wrong, Heavy Cream or Aunties Panties, whatever, someone's got it somewhere. The track is wonderful and it makes you wonder why porn music is so often so bad these days.

When I was in second grade, my dad lent me this tape, and I remember listening to it on a sony walkman while riding on a bus to go to Arbuckle Wilderness in Oklahoma. The kid sitting next to me kept making fun of me for listening to it because he had Nirvana's Nevermind on CD, and I was listening to the Ventures. I was pretty embarrassed and jealous.
